Wildlife In Baden

A small black squirrel
crosses the road:
Hopping; not walking.
He appears as a transverse wave.
I feel a typical sense of
distance and indifference.

A mother duck is walking,
her babies along the train tracks.
I'd like to hold them,
protect them,
tell them all will be all right.
But you have to let birds fly.
